Hope everyone doing great. Some new on Anna. She had her six year old birthday not to long ago and she had to do Belle. She has grown some. This past few months Anna has lost two teeth and she had pulled them out on her own. I was going to do the one tooth tonight ,but she got it out before I did. She was brave about doing it. Last time both children lost the teeth on the same days. Anna is doing pretty good in school this year. She has a lot friends I think. We was at Walmart one night and one the kids said your Nicholas mom. I had Anna with me that night. And she new who it was . I am going to get off of here. I had been so long that I had to rest thing on here. Have a great week.

Good morning everyone sorry its taken so long to post. We have been busy with the children and other family matters. Anyways I thought I would post something today about Anna. Anna is doing great. She is turning the big 5 in few weeks. She is growning up so fast. We are also potty training her. She is doing great with it better than our son is. And he is 6 years old. I have taken away the pull ups. We don't even have them at bedtime either. Anna is in her last year of preschool and doing great with it. They wanted to move her to another school and I told them no that she knows the teacher and everything and that the teacher know her. But she is doing fine and everything. We also have a new baby in the family my great Neice and Anna Love her to death. we got see her and babysit with the other night. Anna was in Heaven. Again I am sorry its taken so long to post. I will try and have some pictures of her if as soon as a I can. Take care .

Hello everyone, It is good to be home out of the hopsiatl. I went in on Jan 13. At 6:00a.m. got to the hospiatl signed in and waited for a little bit. At 7:24 or so they called me back and got me ready for the operation. Anyway, they got the ivs in,the gule in my hair for the EGG. Then they gave me the don't care shot. I was out just like that. Then I guess started on what they need too and then operation. Chris said that they put the vaule in and cleaned out the rest of the vaules while in there. I am home glad to be home. Just wanted to let everyone one know that I was home. Thanks for the prayers. Terri

Anna went with me Friday to Artsmart. She got a small snowman and a mouse and I let her paint them while I was doing something there. She enjoyed it. I have been painting a candle for Christmas. I am still working on it. Am about done with the candle so next I will have to put the light in it. The kids have been going for sometime now to do clay and other projects there. They enjoy going. There was a lady that we meet at Kinderclass with Nicholas long time ago she came in and we talked and she took Anna pictures with her Iphone. Then sent to me. Thanks to her.

Today was Anna's Gotcha Day when we got her from Odessa, Ukraine from Orphanage #3. We went out to eat with her to a Chinese Restaurant. She like the food really good. We also when got her hair cut. She had a pretty good Christmas. Anna got lot of stuff and clothes. I will post more later on. Happy New Year.

Wow , I can't believe it been 2 years now. After bring our little girl home. Anna is 4 years old now. She is doing really will. Anna is growing up so fast on us. We still have trouble getting like Jeans to fit her. Tops are ok. Anna is her 2nd year of preschool and doing really will. She will be in a Christmas play at school to with her brother. Also we signed her up in cheerleading this month. I hope she will like it and do well with it. We shall see. Nicholas is in basketball. We have them in the Upwards game. Nicholas was in the Soccer and we like it lot. After Christmas I will try and get pictures on the blog before I go into the hosptail for the open heart. I don't know how long I will be in. We went to Anna Cheerleading meeting last night to meet the everyone;they had them go up on the stage. Anna was doing the cheer. Then later she was looking at all the girls and then she started moving her arms around like them it was so cute. Hope everyone have a great Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hello everyone, I am sorry that I have not posted any pictures yet. I have had lot of stuff going on. The kiddos are doing pretty good. Our school has started here back in Aug and now the kidds are on fall break for a week. Nicholas did pretty good on the first day off on fall break. The next day we had trouble again. Anna is doing pretty good. She had just turned 4 years on Oct 3rd so we had a birthday party for her on Sunday with our family.Anna got a lot of toys,colthes, some money too for her birthday. Caitlyn came in from college for the weekend. I told you all it has been crazy around here back in the summer and now. Still is , it has not slowed down yet. Back in July I had a strest test done on me again. It was not good. I had too many of the PC that they call them. I am not good with Medcail stuff. The heart drs wanted me to have a catherzation done on me. We set up an appt to talk to them about it and the next day I had it done. They did three test on me with the catherzation for heart. Checked back of my heart with a camera, elctor testing and the reg. catherzation test of it. That was done all in one day. I have to have a right value replace. It is leaking to much that what it should be. I was born with heart problem and had it fixed onces, and now they are saying that now that I am older it needs to be done. I really don't want to have this done but I guess I have too. We will be talking with someone about on the 24th of this month to see what they will do and how long it will take for recover from it. I have a lot of planing to do from now until they tell me when to do. I don't wish this upon no one. We will keep you posted on what is going on from time to time.

Sept Getway for the weekend at Barren Hights

sHello everyone. This is going to be a little different posting. Chris and I and the kiddos heard about this place down around Barren Lake. Its called Barren Hights Retreat. Its for families that has children with special needs. This was a great weekend for both Chris and I also for the our children. We got to meet new families and volunteer's that helped with the children that were there. Chris got to talk with the men and then I got to spend some time with other ladies. Then Chris and I got to spend sometime together that we really need to talk to each other. It helped out lot. Anna and Nicholas got to meet new boys and girls and they had fun. Nicholas has told me something that I thought I would never hear him say to me. He said that he will be nice to me now. I hope it stay that away. Sunday he was pretty good coming home and Monday and Tuesday he was good to me. I hope this has helped him out allot. They got to play out in the rain on Friday night. Then we did thing that was plane for us and they had a great time do it. I think that if we could we would go back again. I do feel little better than what I did before we left for the Retreat. Someone had told me about this when Nicholas was taking swimming lesson. I am glad that we checked into it. It was great to just talk to anothers adults. I think God new what we need and when to go. If you and your family are stressing out and don't know what to do this is great. I did not know about this place at all. I would like to say thank you to the lady that had told me about this. I did not get her name at all. I guess I better get off right now. I need to go and finish Nicholas up and I will add more to this post.

Hi everyone , I can't believe that summer is almost over with. Nicholas just started back to school already this past week. Then Anna will start this coming week for preschool. Nicholas has done pretty good about getting up in the morning to get the bus so early in the morning. I am trying to get back into getting up early now. After sleeping in late for long time. This summer has gone bay so fast. We have had Thurdner Over Louisville, Kentucky Derby,and the Parda. July 4th, and then we just had our home town Parada today. Nicholas and Anna had fun get the Candy.Also I had put Anna in a baby contest Friday night. She did not place anyting. She is pretty in my eyes. I will try and get some pictures on the blog. Anna will be getting on the bus all by herself this year... Nicholas is riding the big kids bus now. So I don't know how she will do by getting the busy with out him now. She is getting to where that when I leave her somewhere she is starting crying for me. Like in the church nuresry. I have to give her a kiss and just leave. We are getting ready to change the helper in the nuresry too. So I want be up there as much this coming year. Anna is doing really well. She is talking more to us. But when other people trying to talk to her first she turns her head to me. My class is going to have a reuion coming up in Sept. Our 20th.I wont be able to make. I will be having some test done on me again and I wont know for sure if they will be keeping me over night. It will be Catherzation testing.

I hope everyone doing good. Like I said it has been so crazy around here. We have been taking my son too the Dr. to help with the behavior and everything. Swimming, artclass to keep him busy this summer. Then I have been to the Dr. too. Anna has been doing really will. She is talking more now. We took her for the first to Hoilday World. She loved. I will try and post pictures on the blog later on when they are in school. . This is just a short post. Just wanted to update a little. We are trying to get ready to go on a trip to for few days. Everyone take care. And Have a great Summer. Our Kiddos will be going to school soon. Our son will be going every day now. Instead of half day like he was in Preschool. Anna will be going back to preschool this year too. That will help her with Nicholas being in different part of the school building. And a different bus too. I better get off of here.

I hope everyone is doing all right. Anna and Nicholas is out of school now. They got out before the older children did. When they got out we had a preschool gradaution for both of them. Nicholas is going on. We also had two preschool meeting on the for both of them her at the house for the last year meeting. We have just been going to artclass on Tuesday now for Nicholas. I think he really like it alot. And we have him in riding horse now. Soccer is over with now. We tried Anna with art but she would not set down long for it. This last weekend of May we had a lot going on. We had a death in the family;my Brother-n-low's Mom passway.They lady her to rest on Friday afternoon. Then Friday evening my youngest Nice Gradauted from High school, on Saturday we had a dinner for her and a friend from church that gradauted too. It was almost nonstop around here. My brother came up from GA for the gradaution. I am glad that he came up for that. I do have picture I am going to put up. I guess this month will go bye fast too. We have lot of thing going on already. Our Anna and Nicholas will go to VBS this month. One weekend we will be going to Cincinnati. When thing gets clam down I will try and put pictures up on the on the blog.

Hello, I said I would try and post let you all know what happen at Thurnder over Louisville, We got up early That Saturday then we went and picked up my nices and her boyfriend. Everybody was doing good until we got half way up to Louisville. Anna got sick on us going up there. She cryed all morning waiting for our room. Then got in the room she was still crying and carring on. Nicholas was not listening at all. Anyway I had chris take both kidds home so we would not get kick out of the room where we was staying at. My nice ,her boyfriend, and I stayed. I did not want to spoil their fun. We were on the 15th floor and had a great view. It was so cold and it rain that night after the fireworks. When I get the pictures from my nice I will post them. I have some on my phone but it will not send to the computer I don't .

It that time again. How time flies by so fast. We plane on going to Thurnder over Louisville this year. We missed it last year. Anna gets to go to see the fireworks. We shall see how she does with them. We also have a room too for it. They are talking about bad weather this weekend again. I hope it does not get to bad. Saturday should be in the 50s. I will try and poat some over the week of the the weekend what she does. Have a great weekend.

My sister did her birthday cake for us. She does alot cakes for people. She does weddings,birthday for family and friends. She does a really great job at it. I have tried it and my flowers does not come out right all. Anna enjoyed the cake. Also the bike she got it for birthday.I hope she starts riding it soon. Shes like Nicholas for while where he was pushing it all the time. She is doing it right now pushing the bike around. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next one she was waiting for the bus the first day of school for her. She was all ready for it. I wasn't really ready for it but she needed to go. She has done really well with school and the bus this year.

Happy Easter to everyone. We are all doing fine now. Like I said in the other posting I was sick. I am almost over it. There is still a coughing every so often but not like it was in the first two months. This past week we had a lot of snow. The kidds went out with Chris some and then I took him when.

Hello everyone, I hope this finds everyone fine. It has been really crazy around here. Around the end of Jan we had really bad storms around here. Torondano, ice, snow, and wind. Tuesday night around 1:00 we had bad storms that came in on us at 1:00 in the morning. I stayed up to watch the weather because they kept talking about coming this way. We had the first storm come in and it was not that bad. Then the 2nd around was the worst on of them. I got the kiddos back up from bed and headed downstairs. I was trying to get Chris up and he was sound asleep.. I did get him up. When he heard me he said he heard the wind and it sound like a train come in. I was yelling at him so. Then right after that our light went out. And I mean out it was out for 3 days. Alot of home got hit around here and some of them our church members. Then after all of this then I got sick again with Bronictas. I still have it too. Right now just trying to get rid of the coughing. They are talking about more snow for us some time this week and then will be warming up. Nicholas has had a cold too. He is finally getting over his.

We are all doing pretty goog. We have been sick this past month and also I had a root cancal done. They had put me to sleep for that. This was my first one and I was for sure if I could not had handle it with my Astma. Now I will get a crown put on it this weekend. Both of the kids have been sick and I have too. They are doing better now. Anna is doing really well she has picked up some weight now. She weighs 20lb now. Anna is getting in cloths like 18 and 24 months now. Her words are dong better to each day with going to preschool and with church too. She is sing her ABC , almost counting and she trying to say the days of the week. We have to help her more on the days of the week. She is also working about going to the bathroom too. Better than our son had done. She has done the number 2 on the potty.Yeah..... I will get more picture on later. We have been trying to get the basement ready for someone to come and work on it for us. I can't wait to get it done and over with. Everyone take care . What a busy week for us. Sunday afternoon I started making Pecan pies and Blueberry Salad something like my Moms. The blueberry was different. I need to find her recipe. I was up until about 2 in the morning Monday trying to get things done. Monday I started on cooking again to go over my Dads' at 4:00 to eat dinner. Then after that we went to our church for the Christmas EVE, back to Dads to open gifts. Anna and Nicholas had a blast. Anna was like what do I do. We had to show her again what to do with the gifts. After that she was off opening. She like playing with the bags and paper that was in the gifts. We got done around 10:00 so we came home to get then ready for Santa. My sister and her girls made Magic Reindeer Food with Anna , and Nicholas the day before. Anna and Nicholas sprinkle this Reindeer food on the lawn before they went to bed. After we did this got them in bed but Anna had a hard time going to sleep. It was about 12:00. I think she will be like me stay up and want to sleep in. Nicholas got up around 8:00 and Anna around 9:00. We got her up and brought her in the living room with the Santa gifts. It took her while again. Then she started in it. Thinking back to last year we was in Odessa having our Christmas in our 2ND apartment. Visit with Anna on Christmas. After we visit with her we went to an open flee market. I bought a Christmas tree for our apartment while we were there. We even brought it home with us on the plane. I can't believe it made it back with us. This will be Anna Tree when she gets little bit older to put in her bedroom. I have everything that I got with it. (T) Do your remember that day? When I wanted to go and get a tree. Then Chris' Mom and Dad came over and had gift for them in the afternoon. She had a full week. I will try an put pictures on this week before Chris leave. He is getting ready to go back to Ukraine. He is helping a group with Blessing bags for the children. They will be there maybe for 5 days. I think he said about 17 people going with them. Please keep them in your prayers and also me while I am here with the kiddos and that everything will be all right

It has been year now after we been there in December. Chris and I flew out around the 8th of December got into Kyiv airport. Then meet (G)then took us where we stayed at got rested up. Went to the SDA with the other families that was with us to their appointments. As they went for their meeting to find there child or children we walked around and shopped some. It was cold that day light rain. Then we went back were we stayed at and then waited for our time to go. I was so worried. One family adopted a little boy and the other family a boy and a older sister. I have been wanting a little girl. When we got there. They showed us 3 boys. I went oh no to myself. Then finally they showed us two girl Both names started with (A) 2n A was meant for us. So we said yes. So then we went got ticket for the train 12 hr ride to Odessa. (T)our helper Chris and I got there and we was trying to find a place to stay. Will we did but it was not in a good shape. We stayed two nights and that was about it. Then we found another place whole lot better. After we got in and un packed and everything we finally went to the Baby home to see Anna. We did and fell in love with her. We tried to go every day to see her and take something to her. We were also doing it the afternoon too. Few days later we decided to wait until the morning to visit,because it got dark there around 4:30. I remember first time holding her she would lean back away from us. Finally she got used to us. After we visit we would go back and walk around or rest. We would also go to the Internet cafe to try and do email and chat with family and friends online.. We also found two Internet cafe in Odessa. This was the 2nd that we had found, One is down road from the post office if I can remember down some steps. They would have Internet and also telephone that you can pay for too use to call home. The phone are in the back and the computers in the front. The other one was just a with computers. This one would have alot of teenager or younger boys in this one playing games or using the computer. Just be careful. One night we was there late and a guy came up and asked us for some money for his mom's operation. And he would not leave Chris alone. When we got there we meet a family and they help chris out and also I had to get the owner of the Internet to help too. We had our court date and everything went fine with it. Then we had to wait the 10 days wait. Finally she would be ours. When the day came we went to get Anna we took cookies and Jucies to them. They had it gone and ready to eat some more. After that get ready to go to kive back on the train ride again. Anna did really will with it. It snowed while we was on the train so we had a little stop on the track. Then on the way again. Finally we arrived. Meet our Helper (G) then we got unpack and rest then we got our paper work ready for the doctor and then US Embasy. We walked around got more pictures of Anna in Kyiv and eat at McDonald. Then it was time to to bring our daughter home. We hated to leave our good friends that we met. If God wants us to adopt again and if life would let us we would do it in heart beat.

Hello everyone, I can't believe how long it has been. It almost a year now that we been home with Anna. Her first Thanksgiving with us and our family. We have a lot to be Thankful for this year. Two butiful children that God sent to us. I can't believe how much they have grown. Anna is in preschool now and I think she really likes it. She made some crafts in the class for Thanksgiving. We had a spell with Anna the other day again. She had fallen down in the house and bumped her head. Will She started crying and would not stop. Then she stopped breathing on us. I told chris to start breathing in her face to get her to come out of it. This is like the fith time she has done this on us. I don't know what this is from. I will have to get to this checked out. Has anyone had this problem before? I hope she grows out of it. I had weighed her last night she is about 20lbs now. We have her in 18months clothes right now. Some are still to big on her. My brother is cominging up from GA for Thanksgiving this year. My dad doesnot know about it. I can't believe its been a year. We was getting everything ready back in Nov.2006. We was getting the clothes packed, getting my dad to watch our dogs and cats, takening care of Nicholas needs while we were gone. Like notes for the bus, and teachers what to do. Birthdays parties and Thanksgiving alot of things. Also trying to remember to pay bills. and find someone to do that for us. I know some families that are trying to do the same thing now. Some Have appt Dec and Jan. We know what they are going through right now. Your on a cloud nine when you hear the new about the date and everything. That the way it was with Nicholas when we got the news on him back in 2002.

Sorry for the takening so long to post. We have not been feeling to good around here lately. Also been busy with things. Our School here has had there fall brake. When I have both of them I can't get on here and post. Anna will be starting school in the the morning. I can't belive it. It will be hard for me to let her go. I know it will. I had to go to town this morning to get somethings for her for school. I hope she will be able to go to bed for us tonight. She has been sleeping in the floor. I don't know why shes been doing that. I just let her fall asleep then I go and put her in bed. This week I will try and get pictures up while they are in school. I guees I better get off here.

We had Anna's birthday party today. She had a blast with it. My sister made the cake for her. We had an Angels for her this time,because I call her my Angel. Chris and I got her a bike for her birthday that she can ride. Anna got some dolls, and bunch of clothes. She is all ready for school now when she start to preschool. We had pizza, cake ,and chips. Then afterwards, with some of the balloons that I got for the party. Later we took some of the balloons to the cemetery to let go at my mom resting place. I wrote on the balloons that we missed her and Loved her wish that she was her to see her new granddaughter. To remember my mom in our thoughts and heart. I know that my mom would have loved to be her and take part with us and do a lot for her granddaughter. I will try and get some pictures on her as soon as I can of the birthday. My camer was missing up on me today. Everyone have a great week. Gods Love you.

I had taken Anna to the Dr. two weeks ago for a cold. I asked them about something to be tested on. I remember my son had done when we got back with him. She did really great for being two years old. They took her blood and did x-rays on her. Anna did cry with the blood but she did not move her arm or try to fight it. I thought they would had to lay her down on a table to do it like we did our son. She set in my lap the hole time crying and watching them. Then She gave hugs to the Nurses afterwards. After the blood was done then they took us to get x-rays and she did great on that to. Plus I gave her a ring pop,So that helped with that part. I was kidding with the lab people that she made them work for the money today. They said that she was pretty good then most the ones they had today. I guess I better be going for now. I am tired and hurting. Everyone have a great week.

We had our meeting and everything. Will we have to take her to the school board to get some more testing done on her. Then we will see if she can get in. If she does then whe will start after fall break.That will be around the 16th. I will let you all know how it goes and everything. Nicholas start on the 14th this month 3 more days for him to go. I think Anna will be all right. I am just worried about her riding the bus. With her being so small and everything. I just wanted to let you know how the meeting went for her. I will post more later on.

Summer has flew by so fast for me. With two children it is different now. We had Nicholas in Daycare for while. Then we did some small trips this years. Last weekend we went to cabin for the weekend and let the children try some fishing. But no luck at all. I can't believe it, we had Anna for 8 months now. Soon it will be her birthday so I got to get busy on that. Anna is doing really great now. She is trying to go potty training. One night she was sick up until 5:00am in the morning.Also she got on the pot and had a BM at 4:00 in the morning. I made a big deal out of it. Right we are having trouble with N trying to go still. I say boys are harder to train. I had only 2hours to have some sleep before getting up at 7:00 to get the kiddos ready and myself ready for the (OT)up in Louisville for Nicholas. I wasn't for sure if we would make it at all. We did make. She was felling better later on in the day. Anna is trying to talk more each day. She starting to play with baby dolls now too. She almost into size 12 months now and on tops 2 or 3Ts. Will Nicholas will be starting school soon in a few weeks. This will help me with Anna for while to train her little bit more with time. Then she will be going to preschool also in Oct or Jan. Were not for sure when yet. I think it will be in Oct. This Friday we have a meeting with the teachers and the first steps that is working with her at school. It would be good for her but only thing I hate to see her get on that bus with her being so small and everything. I will probably cry when she gets on that bus. When she gets get in and things goes on I will let you know how things goes for her first time in preschool. Have a great week and safe one.

What a great time we had today. The weather was not as hot and the zoo was not as busy this morning. We got up there earler this time around. We took the Kids this morning and last time we went they were so busy it would had been hard to keep up with Nihcolas. I think Anna had a great time. She tried to say some of the name of the anmails that she seen when I said it too her. We got on the train with them and the Carsial. I put her on one of the horses that move up and down. Boy she grined big from ear to ear. That is the first time I seen her smile that big. She loved it. All the anmails where not out this morning. One of the Grille that was inside. He was watching a moving that they did I guess of some of the other ones. And one of them had passaway. And he was watching that. That was Anna's first Zoo trip with us after being home for 7 Months. Coming up we will be going camping too. Can't wait on that to see what she does. I guess I better bet let you all go for tonight. I need to get to bed. Hello everyone, I hope everyone hoilday. So far everyone is doing better. Anna did get sick after I did a draft on the last post. We was eating at the table and Nicholas said something and then she was sick. I sent him on to church with my sister and I stayed home with Anna. She had a little fever too. Chris was in Ukraine for a mission trip that week when all of this happened with Anna. Glaya I Thank you for takening good care of him and the group for me and to Toina too. Boy did I miss him. He said that they got a lot done while they were over there. He mowed the grass at one of the orphanges homes. He had to use a lopper is what Chris called it. They painted some of the place there. I can't really tell ya where they went to right now. I need to ask him. They also took the children swim at the beach. Anna is doning better now. She is trying to talk more too. There time she said I want down. Whats thats. She is also doing things that Nicholas is doing. I am trying to put a stop to that right now. It not good what he is doing.

We have been sick around here this pase week. I got it first then. I went to the Dr. and they gave me some meds. I could not take it. I took three of them and then on the weekend when I had some problem after taking it. Then Nicholas got sick the next weekend. He is doing better now. Nicholas has been running around and playing. Chris had something too but not as bad. So far Anna is doing really great. I hope it stay that for right now. We are going to have Memorial Day. I will try and get picture of the kiddos and get them on here. My dad was in the horse Calvary along time ago. He has picture of him on the horse and everything being on the hill. He took me there when I was about 11 or 14 years old. I am glad that we have a place were we can be free to go worship were we like to and go were we like.

Anna and Nicholas played outside today while we were outside. They really enjoyed it. I hope this post find everyone well. We have been really busy around here. Chris and I took the Anna and Nicholas to NC to see Chris Grandmother and Uncle Bob and Aunt Regane. The kids had a great time. They feed some ducks, and geese. We had great time with Bob , Regane and Chris'grandmother. Then I had started back with PT again but with my back and hip. We are also takening a class called Pantering with Love and Logic. Anna is doing pretty good. She has had some weeks of First Steps and I think she is picking up some words. She has said Bubbles one day at church. Then this week she said baby too this week. We are still having trouble with her going to bed late. Sometime even when she doesn't take a nap. I don't know about this. I hope that we can get this worked out with her. Anna might be going to preschool next year around her birthday. This will be hard for me to let her go on the bus. I know Nicholas will be on the same bus but still this will be harder for me. Anna is still so small. She is finaly getting in to size 12 months 18 months clothes. She has been home with us for 5 months now. Yesterday was her first Kentucky Horse Race. She watched some of the horse on the track while they were walking. Then after that,that was it for her. It is Easter time again. To reflect on Jesus Christ. That he came on Christmas as a child and then Die on the Cross for our sins. We have two beautiful children that God has lead us too. To be part of our family. I just hope and pray that we can teach them what God wants us to for their life. I can't wait to see Anna in the morning to see how she will be. Then also trying to find Easter eggs just for the fun of it for the children. I wish it was a little warm for this Easter. We had some snow this weekend too. My Nephew was up here from GA, I told him it was snowing. He said no way,That I was crazy. Then he looked out. He said, he hope it would snow a lot so he would not have to go back to school right now. Right now Our school has two weeks off right now. But I think they are going back to one week break. They started the two week back in 1998 after I started with the 2ND time work with the schools. We will be eating at my Dads house for Easter dinner. And hid the eggs over there for them to find. Will I guess I better be getting off of this for to night. Also please pray for my sister in your prayers. She has a fracture in her right feet now. This one is bad. Thanks. Frist start with Anna. She is doing really great in everything. Anna is liking the baths now; she does not want to get out of them. I will let the water out then she will laydown before the water runs out of the tub. She is trying to say more words too. Anna said later to my sister. I told her to say see ya later. And she only got later out. We also have her in First Step now. I know she is only 2 1/2 but with the different we thought this would help her and also with getting her into preschool. (M) thinks she will be able to go next year to perschool. I thought it would be like Nicholas have to wait. No she will be able to start. When we do it we will try only 2 day if we can for her right now. Where she can get use the children. She has not been around alot other children yet. We will see how she will do on that. We are working with Anna about going pottying. She is doing pretty good about that. But the other part we are work withing now. I hope we can get soon. Nicholas on the other hand we had to get tough on him. Do different things with him. After Anna got home. We thought it be the other way around. But no. It was Nicholas that we have to work with. He is getting better with her now. Each day is improving some.

This is on of the apartments that we stayed at in downtown Odessa. This was right by the Toy store and the mall and down from the yellow church.I can't remember the name of the church. I really liked this place after the first one that we had. I also have the 3rd place too that we stayed at not too far from there. I found out how to put the pictures on so I will add more on later. I tell ya what. This morning both kiddos are sick. Nicholas had a 101.3 fever and Anna had 100.9 I called the Doctor and they told me to take them to the hospital this morning instead of bring them in. So I did that. Nicholas has a Varel and Anna her Ear is red what they said. I have to watch Nicholas really close because if it goes up to 103.0 he get into the fev seizes. We were in MO one time when that happen. Boy that scared me to death. I have seen them before with other children where I have worked at. But your own child. I stayed clam. Tried to get him come out of it. It keep getting worse so I told my mom about what was going on then dad took us to the hospital in MO. I am watching both of them to make sure that does not happen to either one of them. I probably wont send him to preschool in the morning. Plus I am not feeling good right now. I am still having trouble with my ear. I might have to go in with that. Right now Chris is better than either one of us right now. I am hoping that thing will get back on track here. I can't wait where they can go out side to play some. They are say maybe around the 50's sometime this week. I hope so. I hope this fins everyone else well. Have a great week.

This has been a hard week. Anna has been really great. Right now we are having trouble with big brother right now. Put this way we have taken toys away from him , time out, and thinking spot. All of this is not working with him. I don't know why it not working. I have tried everything with him. He is throwing his toys at us, biting , hitting and everything else that you can think off. Going through the house and brakening thing of toys or trunning chairs over. He has broke one our clocks. And he is laughing about all of this stuff too and running away from us when we try and get him to clam down. Has anyone else gone thru this before their children after a 2nd or 3rd adoption? He is 4 years old. He does have one problem. He has even told me that he does not love me and , does not want to talk to me. I am not kidding about this. He has kicked me, bit me, hit me.

Anna's First Family Doctor Visit Today

We had set up a Doctor appt. before we left, so I would not forget to do it when I got home. I am glad that I did that because it has been crazy around here lately. What I did was just made an appt. and told them that we would not know for sure if it would be a girl or boy. We put my name in the spot of there names. Anna did really well with it, only things I did not take a stoller in for her to set in while I was doing paperwork. It has been rainning here last night and all day today. Only thing that was wrong for right now she had some wax in one of her ears. Then we got her first shot with mommy today and she did not like that. The shot she got was the Haemophilus Influenze type B. So two more to go with that one. I believe she will be all caught up on that part for while. I think our dogs like her right now. They don't like Nicholas to much right now. He really give them a hard time. Daphany and GA walks behind her sometimes. Theres time I know they think she will drop food down too while she eats. To night she went to bed with out any problem tonight. It is late. I need to get off of here and get some rest.

I can't believe that it is already Feb 9th. I have been doing PT on my Shoulder.It is doing better. Time does fly by fast.Everyday we are doing something with the kiddos or I have PT go to. We had two days off of school too because of the weather here later. Last week Chris work gave a baby shower for us For Anna. That was really nices of them to do that. Got alot of clothes for her. We want to Thank them for the baby shower. Anna is doing really well everyday. She is trying to say some words. Like By by,night night, good girl, and I am trying to get her to say I love you. She was sleeping really will at night when we brought her home ,right now she has been having trouble going to sleep. Have you all watch the Nanny 911 or the other Nanny show. I been trying to use some things with her on that. Like when she does not go to sleep just keep laying them down. Every time I do that she laughs about now. When we get here room Painted; I will have to move the bed. She like to get up and play with the light and the fan. That is the only thing we have trouble with at night right now. On her eating we have to watch ,because she will stuff food in her mouth and you would not know. She is that fast. Anna loves the bath now and she also like her hair wash too. When we take her out she crys now. I am going to try one day and set time to get on here add pictures on the blog. Like I said It is hard for me to do right now. Our son is giving us trouble right now. We have been working with him alot trying to get him back into a routine for him and for Anna. Chris just went back to work on the 29th of Jan. So Nicholas is testing us. I am hoping that this will get better soon. And praying about it too. I better sign off of here too night. Please pray for us That things will get back on track for us. If We Adopted Again What We Would Do With Packing.

We had taken too much with us. We had four bags. And medical things too take with us. Chris and I took some snacks with us because we was not for sure what we would find over there or where we would end up at. We both have sugar trouble. Mine dropped. I don't take any meds for this sometime it is high too. Chris' gets high then when he takes his meds then it dropped by the afternoon. We might just take some snacks, just not alot like we did this time around. In Kivy this were stores and also in Odessa. I would take a rope of some kind where we can hang up clothes if we go back again and some clothes pins. And also We will go to Radio Shack to pick up on of a adaptors that we had in one of the places that we stayed at. Like I said we bought one at the airport and it did not work for my Bipap Machine. I might write a letter too them and let them know that they should try and make plugs to go with you to other countries. Rope for clothes to hang to dry,clothes pins. light snack to hold you over until you go shopping in Keivy. We did use the flash lights where we stayed at going up and down the stairs. Hello from KY, We are home and doing ok. Chris,Anna,and I are trying to get back in to the swing of things right now. We have been home for 2weeks now. She is doing great. When we set down for dinner ,we say a pray before we eat. Anna is starting to hold out her hand for us to say the prayer now. Big Brother Nicholas and Anna is doing ok. Each day it is getting better. We have to get on too him sometime. He has tested us alot. But he has done that in the past too. We are working on this. He has that Sensory Disorder. We are still trying to unpack our stuff and find all our gifts for everyone that we got for. Anna went to my Heart Doctor Friday. They did chest x-ray, ecogram another test on her. She did great on all of them. Everything is fine with her heart. We just wanted to make sure. She does not have to go back. In Feb she has appt with the family doctor for the other check-up now,that will be it. We took the crib out of the room for her. She climbed out of it a few times,so we put a reg-bed in there. Will guess what the first night she fell out of it. We had a bedrail up but passed it and fell out. She rolls alot. I slept with her the fisrt night. She reminds me of on of my nieces when she sleeps like that. I have to go to a PT. I know this sound crazzy but one night. I was walking thru the hallway and tripped over the coatrack foot and caught my hand on the conner of the wall and I think I missed up my shoulder. I have to go on Monday to see what they will do. Everyone is crazzy over Anna. My dad kept her for a little while. The whole family loves her. We have two dogs. They are almost there to be friends. I hope. We had pack too much on our trip. We could got most stuff there if we wanted too. I did by a blowdryer and Iron for my hair. I guess I better get off of here. Please remember our other family that is over there. A Long Trip Back Home With Anna. Good Things Happend and BAD things Happened Coming Home.

Hello everyone. It is good to be home. We had a great time in Ukraine but it good to be home. We had made new friends while there hope to see everyone again one day. We had long trip home. We left Keivy airport made it to Amsterdam , They told us no rooms when we called. But we thought we would check when we got in. There was a room for us opened. That was great. We got up around 4:00. around 8:00 we got on the plane and left. While on the plane Anna did great until we landed then she got sick and threw up all over us and the floor of the plane. Then from Michg to Louisville she did fine. The plane we had was loud and we sat in the every back of the plane. We land and got off. Everyone was there waiting for us. My Dad,sister, Tiffany, Chris' Dad and Debbie was there two meet us And Anna's big brother was there too. I was walking like (T) really fast to see them after I got off that runway and I new where I was headed too. Anna was in the stoller. I was so glad to be home. Anna did great on the train too. It took us while in comustm and we missed our first flight from Michg to Louisville becuase the plane was late and we had 3 plane that land with us and thats why it took so long. We are still on Ukraine time. I will try and post prictures on here after I get thing clam down here.I have too get our son back on track with everything. It might be a few days. I tell ya what I am glad to have my computer back. I know we have some problems with getting on but when you go just wait till to try and use the internet. Hello everyone, Anna is doing really well. I gave her frist bath today. She still cried about but wasn't not as bad with Chris. I got to wash her hair too. We meet with the Hopeful Heart group today and ate lunch with them. And went to an hosptial that children are dropped off sometime or just picked up off of the streets. There were two 2years old children that was picked up off of the streets there today. I don't know how long they have been in there. We are coming home. There were a few things would liked to have with us on the trip was a cloths line to hang up wet cloths. Sometime it was hard to hang them up somewhere to dry. Please pray for the Hopeful heart team to get back home safe on Sundaynight. We will be flying out on Sunday and arriving home Monday. Please keep us in your prays. We are ready to get back and see everyone and Nicholas. We miss you Nicholas very much. Hi everyone, We had a great Christmas, and New Year. For Christmas we got a Christmas tree and put up where we stayed at. And we also got something for (T) for christmas too. In Odessa they did bunch of fireworks until about 1:00 in the morning. Then the next day they did them too. Anna is doing great with us. I will post more later we are in a hurry. Everyone take care. We Had a Good Visit With Anna This Morning

Good morning everyone, We visited Anna today. She is doing great. She wanted to hold my hand when Chris took her for little walk. The sun is shinning this morning. It has been cold but today the sun came out so we got to spend more time with her today. (T)went to visit her family for Jan 1 for few days and will back on Tuesday. I have a cold again. We have moved to our other apptment friday. So we can make phone calls to family back home with a ukraine phone card. We had tried out AT&T we can not get it to work with our phone here. Please keep praying for us that we will stay healthy. Untill we get home with Anna. I will not be fun being sick and traviling with a child. I am takening my meds. We have meet some family here from USA I hope we can stay in touch with them when we get back home. They helpped us out one night at the other internet. A guy came up to chris and asked for money for his mom.Because she was going to have her leg taken off at the knee. Then he kept droping the money when chris said he could not do it. Chris said that he would pray for her and that was it. Other than everyone has been help us. Also too. Chris and the (T)went to on of the store to by water and other stuff. We they forgot to put the water on the tickeit. and the gaurd seen it. Then put the water back. Instead of got to line to pay for it. because it was long line. Bu they forgot to ring it up. Hey guys, We have had a hard time trying to post on this blogger this week. I have tried for about 3 days no luck untill now. It is cold here today and light rain. Yesterday we had sun and it was so nice to have it. I tell ya what my legs and back has been hurtting from all this walking around here and going up and down the stairs. I am not use to this at all. I can tell that I am out of shap from all of this walking and going up and down stairs. One day we went a church in Odssa. We meet 3 missionaries while there. Anna is doing pretty good. I think she is warming up to us everyday. We did not get to see her today. They said no visit. They had someone checking on the place and paperwork is what it sound like. We are moving again to another appterment. That is less exspenve on Saturday. But it is nice to like what we have. But no washer. We got use to the washer in the other place. They have someone else that can pay more for the place than what we can. We might have a phone that we can use too at the place where we are moving too. I hope. I miss calling my family and Nicholas. Hi everyone. We just got back from seeing Anna this afternoon. It was a short vist,when we got there they said it was almost bath time for her. So we only had about 45 mint. to visit. It went will tonight. We took some new toys and some cookies and yogurt. She liked that every much. We visit a church this morning to that was different from ours. We are in a different place now staying and it is every nice. I like it a lot. There is more room,clean and we can fix our on meals. We also can wash our cloths. We went to SDA and they showed us 3boys we said no to them there were some stuff wrong with them. Then they showed us two girls. The 2nd girl they showed was pretty will healthly. Just crosed eye. She is 2 years old and here name is Anna and we are going to go with that and have it as Anna Elizabeth Diehl. She has blone hair kind of wavie and blue eyes. She is small. She is a sweet heart. We are here in Odssa. I got sick Thursday morninging. I hope I feel better by friday. We road a train to Odssa this was my first time doing a sleeper car. It took about 12 hours by train from Keivy. I just wanted to post some information. Please keep us in your all prayers. We had one place to stay and we found another one for the rest of the time while here. Tell you more on that later. Good morning from Kyiv..it is fairly warm, in the mid 40's and cloudy. It was dark when we landed yesterday at 4:30 in the afternoon. The daylight is short, basically from 8 to 4pm. All of the flights were great, no problems and we got all of our bags. We met another couple on the way to Russia to get two boys, age 7 & 9. Also our flight attendent adopted and had two kids from Norway. Then we ran into another couple on teh way to Kyiv adopting from Ukraine. It always amazes me that we "bump"into so may adopters along the way. We finally got some sleep, except we had some excitement with the electricity last night. Our plugs went out and we had fun trying to find the fuse. We were getting Terri's sleep apnia machine going when the fuse blew. It was in the hallway, but locked. Luckily Gayla had a key and we got it going again, and Terri's machine works fine. The apartment is wonderful and very comfortable. We are on the 6th floor and unfortuately the elevator was kaput. For those of you that know us well, we just pack a few things, so it was not much fun lugging everything but the kitchen sink up six flights of steps. Ha ha, got my workout for the night!! Today we are tagging along with the other two families that have appts today. They changed our times, the others go at 2 and 4 today and we go at 12:00 tomorrow. Actually I think they just told us worng yesterday. That is better for us anyway! The Stewarts and Elberts will know who their children are in a matter of hours and will prbably travel later today or tomorrow to meet them, then it is our turn. Maryjane and Gina, thanks for watching Nicholas over the weekend. Let us know how it went. Nicholas, we miss you every minute of the day. We have shown your picture to everyone here. We are trying to get things packed the last minute stuff. I made some pies for the Dr. Office yesterday. Chris took Nicholas to MCD this morning to eat and play. I am not feeling too. I doing little better. Like I said in the last post. I think is hiting right now. I typed up all the stuff for my sister for bus list , numbers and who and help pick him up off the bus and that good stuff. What is going on at school. Nicholas has a Christmas play on Dec 14th and we will miss that this year. yeah I went to bed earl last night because I was feeling to good. Thats not like me to do that. Sometime I stay up tell 1:00 at night. I think we are going to dry run on the packing again make sure we have everything. And We may go out and eat tonight. So Saturday is the big day for us to fly out.

Good morning everyone, It is snowing here this morning. Hopefully it will be gone by Saturday and it will be nice so there wont be any delays. I think it is all skin in right now. I am overwhilming with all of this right now. I went got some of the money that we need for our shoping. Then worked on the photos for the trip last night. I think all of this is starting to sit in I am not really feeling to good right now. I hope I feel better be for we fly out on Saturday. I am going to try and clothes and towels wash up today. Were I wont have to do that Friday at the last mints. When Nicholas get on the bus then I am going to laydown and try and rest some to see if that will help me. Then I am going to try and make some pies for a someone. Were we go out to at out so Nicholas can give it to her for Christmas. This lady is so nice to him. I have started to doing this for him to do.

We got our bags pack with the carry on and the check on. Now I have to wait tell Friday to pack my Biapap Machine. I will probably do that one Friday afternoon and not use it that night. Until we get there on Sunday night. I just hope I can find the water for it while we are there. Also I am working on the the family Photos to take with us. We had one for Nicholas last time. But we can't find it so I had to redo it all over again.

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone had a great weeked. We have been trying to pack. We did not go to Church Sunday morning do trying to pack and also have Chris' Mom and Dad and My Dad and Neice over for dinner. Chris Mom and Dad had a Birthday. So we did it together. We have to re do our packing some today. I hope that we can get it down under 50lbs. My mine was about 40 something Chris was over 50.

Only eight more days tell the flight to go to Ukraine. My niece is graduating on the 10th from Berea College. We will miss that day. Tiffany we wish we could be there for you on this day. We love you every much. We will see you when we get back and we can do something then. We will be thinking about you while we are traveling. All of us have something to look forward too this time year in our family. One is Graduating and a child is coming into all of our lives. Everyone have a great weekend. Keep warm and safe. I called to check about Juror Duty

I called on Monday morning. They called me back. I told them what was going on and that I sent in the summons for duty back and I typed the letter up for them. She said that they would let me off. But I will still get a letter about it later. I was so worried about this. I guess I better get off of here. I just wanted to let you know what is going on with everything this week. Bye the way , Chris is sick this week with a cold. Please pray for him that he will get over this soon. And that I don't get it. Most of the time I get everything. Also we started packing. We hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving. We had a pretty good one. My brother and his family came up from GA. They will be leaving in the morning. We are so stuff with Turkey and everything. I got to eat,I had my one of my tooth worked on Tuesday. It is still hurts some where he gave me the shot. Any way the surprise that I got in the mail. Got summons for Juror Duty. This will be going on while we are in Ukraine. 1/08/97. I have typed up a letter staying why I can't be there for this. I hope they will except this letter that I have typed up. I could not believe this when I seen this. Also our pastor was talking about this one Sunday at church. That he had to do jury duty. I am going to tell him that he had jekins me on this. Just to give him a hard time about. I could not believe this at all. It seams like everything is coming all at once. There were few things that I could not find at Kmart that I wanted. So we will see. Town was busy today. Lot of people getting Christmas things all ready. Paper Work for Nicholas School

Monday Morning. Got up and started to get Nicholas paperwork ready for school. I typed up some notes for the bus drivers today. I gave the letters to the bus drivers ,we wanted to let them know what was going on. Then later on in the day I started typing up the one for the school and the teacher too. I will have this out of the way now ,so we can start doing other things now for the adoption. We have 25 more days left right now. I think the first two weeks will fly by fast. Then It will seem like it will slow down for us until the weekend that we have go. I will post more later on durning the week.

Making phone calls today. Chris and I was both making phone calls trying to tell everyone about our date. He called my brother and I did not know ,then I called. My Brother and his family lives in GA. They are coming up for Thanksgiving. This will be great time to spend with them. Chris was making phone calls at work and emails all day after he called me. Then I got on the phone here trying to call my family and friends. I think we still have some that we need to call that we did not get to today. Now we need to get the baby room ready again. We did have the room clean up and now it is all piled up again with things. Were going to have start packing our stuff and getting things that we need to take with us. I need to get a family book a started again with family members so the child will kind of know the family. I wish my mom was here now for this adoption too. My family meet us at the airport when we brought our son home from Russia on the 2nd trip. I know she is in my heart. If we adopted a girl the name will be Emma Elizabeth. My mom middle name was Elizabeth. And we will also keep part of her ukraine name too. I don't have a boys name picked out. I tell ya. Boys name are hard to pick out. I did with Nicholas until they called us we went over there. That is a long story for right now. I had one name picke out then changed it. More on that later. If you want to leave a names on blog then we can try and pick one from the blog. That will go with Diehl. I need to get off of here and go to bed. Please pray for us and our family and the two families that will be going with us in our group. Guess what. I got up early with Chris on Friday the 27 to make a phone call to Kiev. Well. We got our answer. They said to call back again first said two week then said to call back week and half. To see if we are on the Dec list or not. Getting up at 4:00 is not for me. I don't get up until around 8:00. Then Nicholas doesn't until about 8:30 or 9:00. We have to wait again on the date. Good morning everyone, This is early for me today. I was up at 6:00 to get ready to go to school with Nicholas for Muffins 4 Mom. He did pretty good this morning. Now we have to get ready for his 11:30 perschool class. Last night Chris and I had our meeting with (J) for our updateing the homestudy. That went pretty good. I hope that we don't have to do this for while now. Maybe this is all the update we need to do for while on the adoption part. It seem like this year has gone by so fast. I need to get off of here an do some stuff. Get Nicholas ready for school. He has a trip to day to get a pumkin. I am thinking about going with him today. Everyone have a great week.

Chris and I had to redo our homestudy last week around the 6th & 7th because the I-171H approval adet it is going to expire on Dec.2. We wanted to get that updated before we have to leave for Ukraine. Now we have a lady for the Home study interview coming on Oct. the 23. (J) will be doing a interviews again with us. Maybe in a week or so we will hear something on a travel date. We will keep you updated on the news.

This is Sunday night, Oct 1. I thought I would try and put new information on the blog. Saturday night we should have had a Neighborhood watch meeting. Well it got rained out on us. Were are going to try it tomorrow afternoon. Also, Chris went to our travel meeting Saturday too. Got the information that we needed. Like what to take and what not to take. Even for the children . I told him to ask about the Biapapap machine. This is going to be a pain for me to take. I asked the doctor if I could just leave it home. He said NO. I had to take. I hope we get this date soon. We found out that we had to get our Home study license updated again notarized and apostiled. He had to go to Frankfort this morning to get apostiled. Now we have to do a cover letter too. Frankfort is about 1:45 minutes from where we live. Then he had to drive to work. Has to go back next week to do the cover letter too. Maybe after this we should hear something from Ukraine.

Boy today so beautiful day. Nicholas was off of school today and for two weeks for fall break. Well today Nicholas and I walked over to my dads house to help him out with some things around the house. Nicholas rode his bike over there and he did a great job of riding it. Last year he would just push his bike and riding toys around. Now he can peddle them. Then I fixed some lunch for him and we ate outside in the backyard. I like this type of weather where you can get out and do things like this. I can handle this. I know this doesn't have anything to do with the adoption. It was so nice after we had all that rain last weekend. They are calling for it again on Saturday. I don't know we will be able to do our Neighborhood watch meeting on Saturday afternoon. Anyway, Chris won't be here for that. We also found out about a travel meeting with our group to get us ready just in case for our travel date. The meeting is the same time as the Neighborhood watch meeting. I guess I better get off of here now. Nicholas is resting and I am going to watch my show and then I am going to lay down before he gets up. I am still trying to get over this cold. Right now it is a cough and my voice goes out sometime. Rough weekend

September 24, 2006 This weekend was kind of rough for us. Chris and I were going to have a cook out here at the house for the Sunday School Class that we are in, on Satuday afternoon. Friday we had rain and all day and Saturday we had rain and bad storms that came through. We did go on and have the cook out at church after the storms had finished. Also we had no phones all day long on Saturday until Sunday morning around 9:00 am. We had a water down in our basement on Friday night. We saw on the news that one man was sleeping Friday night and was floating in his bed the next morning. We are all ok on this end. I am still trying to get over a cold that I have had about month. My voice is what is giving me trouble with right now also with a cough. I hope everyone has a great week and a safe one. Take care. I will post more news later as we find out things.

I have been looking around for a blog to keep up with our adoption while here at home and when were in Ukraine. My Husband and I have been doing this adoption for 2 years now. Before we left for Ukraine. They have gone up to $20.00 now. Three more days until May 1. May____________________ Rick--- Chris' dad took the paperwork to the Jefferson county clerk to take them to be certified. We got them back. May 15__________________ Chris and I went to the Hopeful Hearts mailing to help out then he had one of the ladies to look over the paperwork to make sure that it was all right. May 16 ___________________Today Chris sent the paper work to Ukriane by fedx. Now back to the waiting game again. May 19 ___________________We got an e-mail from Fedxs and said it arrived in Kevie in Ukraine. No one was home today to pick up. So maybe Monday they will get then. Thats what we are hoping that they will take it back to the person( s) home. May 20 ___________________Chris and I have to go to another adoption meeting where we went for Nicholas to talk about our trip for him. These meetings are for families that are waiting for the travle date from Russia , or about to go over to Russia to meet there Child/ren. We have done one of these meetings a long time. It seems like everytime they called from the other adoption for Nicholas, that something comes up. We are going to this one this time around. We will be taking Nicholas with us to share our story. It might be awhile before we will be able to do other meetings with them. June June June is almost over now. Still no word yet from Ukraine about when the AC will open up. But I still check the mail everyday to make sure. We are trying to get thing ready, so wont be to much do when we get back from Ukraine with the baby. It is still hard to make Dr.appt and everything. Nicholas also had his tubs taken out this month too. Got that over with before the little one gets here. Last night we got an email on the 28 of June saying that the Ac might open up on July 3. I hope and pray that it does, so we can hear something soon from them. I will post more later on to let everyone know what will be happening. Sorry about not adding more on sooner but we just really haven't heard much. This is all that we know right now about it onpeing up on the 3 of July. July 3________________ We got new that the Adoption Center was opened. July 7 ________________Chris and I found out that we have to send a letter of to the Adoption Center now to let them know that we still want adopted. He will be typing that up and then we have to get Notearies and Aposltes to send it over there. Then On July 11 we both have to do our DR. exams over again. They were out of day. Paper work can't be year over. We might get all of this done in time frame. From there we wait again on the travel date. I have talked with are mailcare that does our route and she said she would look out for it. Yes I did. We have had other people mail in our box off and on. I also asked her to let the other workes know too about. I can't wait to get that letter. I just hope we don't have to go in Dec. July 14 _______________The ladies sent our paperwork over to Ukraine today. They should get it on Tuesday in Ukraine. When it get over the girls should have it and start working on it to change it over to the their writing. Now we have to wait and see when we get the letter to travle over to Ukraine. If it comes in Aug. that would be great. Then my sister would be able to keep our son while we are over there. The schools here starts on Aug. 2nd for the olders ones and the youngers starts around the 2nd week of Aug. We have that year around school here. July 17 _______________Today is Tuesday our paperwork should be over in Ukraine by now. I can't wait to hear something soon from them. We are going to take my newphew back to GA and while I am there I am going to look for something for the Baby's room. I would like to do the room in hearts and Angles if I can find them for a girl. I don't know about for a boy yet for the room. If more new comes in I will let everyone know. July 28 _______________Yesterday our air went out on us in the house. It was hot last night. This morning the first thing I did was called someone to see if they could come out to check it out. We had to replace the hole sytems inside and outside. I am glad that we got that fixed now. Aug 1st will be coming up soon. July has just gone by so fast. I was telling Chris that maybe we will get the letter in about 3 weeks or so. I have started looking for stuff for the baby rooms. When we took Andrew home and while we was down there I looked around in GA. No luck finding what I wanted. I may have to change my mind. I really would like to find what I want. Like the saying goes when your looking you wont find it. But when you stop then you will find it. We had a lot of stuff happen this week. Chris had to startjump my car because I left the lights ons. I thought I had turned them off. Then the radio would not work after he got the car going because the code you have to put in. We have seen were some families has there dates to go over to Ukraine. I hope we hear something soon. Chris, Nicholas , my Dad, and I went to Kennett ,Mo. to visit some of my family there. Before we were called out. We got back on Sunday afternoon. Trip went pretty good for the most part of it. We drove back around town again this time,there is still alot of home were you can not live in. From the Aprils stroms that they had. Kennett was bad. Around Curthisville was hit hard. When we got back on Sunday night I checked the some of the posting of families and some had theres dates. I can't wait. To get our and go. This has been a long adoption for us. I just hope and pray that God will help us bring home the child he has for us. Like he did with Nicholas. I don't know if I had wrote about Nicholas or not. Anyway I will do it hear. What happened was. About the same thing happend but we had to more paper work two of everything. Other problems came up with it that adoption too. Finaly we we got a travle date for April the weekend of Easter 2003. This was for the frist trip to Russia to meet him. We had a name picked out for him before they called. We had Timmothy so that Christmas we put that name on the christmas gifts to eveyone in the family. After they had called us and told us the date and everything I told Chris when we was packing and getting our stuff ready that we need to changed it to Nicholas he was happy about that after we picked out. He said let wait till we get over there to find out. Got there and went to where was stayed out the next day went to the Minstery of Education. They said had a boy for us the age and the name. Guess what his name was Alxive Nicholi. We looked out each other and smiled we knew then that was right. We called home and talked to my Mom and Dad . Mom said he would have two teeth and blue eyes and blond hair. Then we said yes to the adoption and then had to come back home afte the week and wait for the court date that was in July of 2003. August 15______________ We have been trying to keep up with the news on the adoption with the travel dates with the other adoption chat rooms. Some families are getting them from what they call the (Brown truck) UPS. I have been watching for the UPS truck and the snail mail too. Which I need to let them know again when I catch them driving by and put mail in the mailboxes. Today I have been trying to call my Doctors to see about getting letters for all of my meds that I am taking and breathing machine for the flights. After all that has happen lately. Maybe by the time we get our letter everything will be clam down for while. I hope and pray. I better be getting off of here I need to get to bed. I have to get Nicholas up in the morning and get him ready for school and go to town to do some things. Today after I got hime off to school I was trying to get caught up with the washing of clothes from the trips. Before he started back to school. Right now I am glad things are moving again. I hope they keep moving on the travel dates for families that have been waiting for while. I pray that everything will work out for everyone. And that they find the child that God has for them. Love August 19 _______________Hopeful Hearts had there picinc today. We thought it was going to rain. We seen some of the families that will be going with us maybe to Ukraine. When we got to the picinc one of the Ladies that is helping us with the adoption said that our State Police paperwork will have to be changed. They had put Chris' birthday on my paperwork. But his was ok. We will have to get that going this week. Today turned out great. If we hear more I will let everyone know about what is going on. I just can't wait to get this paperwork done. Hope to hear more later. Have a great week. August 21_____________ Chris got the paperwork ready for the state police to get to changed and everything. He will be going to the captial in the morning again to everything done. I hope they get my birthday right on the paperwork now. Then when he get all that finshed he will fedex the paperwork to Ukraine. Then maybe we will hear something from them soon. Please pray for us that everything will go fine for us. You do have ups and downs with adoption paperwork and other stuff with it. But yet it is worth it all at the end whe you bring the child home with you. August 22_______________ Got Nicholas on this bus this morning for school. Then Chris called me and said he got the paperwork done. Then drove back to work and Fedex the work to Ukraine. Now a wait and see. They should get it by Thursday I hope. Now Chris and I need to get the room read for everything. We have to clear out he stuff that in the room and have to found out where we need to put the Georgia , and Daphany out now. They have been sleeping in the that room for long time now. Were also try to maybe to a sun room on the back proach. Were looking in the price of them right now. One company wanted 29,0000 and soemthing. For what we want. I told them no not now. We have someone else too in mind we will see what they have to say. I guess I better get off of here. I need to get ready and go to town. I have to do something. Everyone have a great week and please keep us in your prayers Thanks. August 24______________ Chris has been checking on the Fedex package that she sent with the papework to Ukriane. He said it looks like they have it in Ukrinae and the ladies that our changing the writing to theirs should have it by Friday. We belive the Adoption Center is close for today and Friday for their hoilday. Maybe next week they will get the paperwork and start working on it again. It is over there now. August 29 _____________Chris check the Fedex package today and the lady has our paperwork. So hopeful it will be at the Adoption Center this week. We hope that they will have it and that we will get the letter to come and meet our child. Please keep us in your prayers for the date. As always we will keep you inform as with the information. Everyone have a great week. Terri September 1 ____________Hopeful we here something this month about are travel date soon. I was out in the driveway with my son playing and a fedex drove by. I had a car blocking the driveway so my son wouldn't go down to the end of it. They drive by here fast even it kindof a dead end. The truck turned around but it did not stop here. Also I got my laptop working again. We had to make severl phone call to Dell. I have never been so upset with a company like that. One person called me one day two weeks ago. He said he was nevers to talk to me. I told hime what I thought was wrong with the computer and she said that he would work with me. He did. This person was the only that would listen to me what I had to say. I got to be going I need to get my son in bed for a nap right now. September 5 ___________The Holiday weekend is over with. Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. Nicholas and I have been sick. I have had a sore throat. Now everyone will probably be watching the mail again and the UPS and the Fedex. That is adopting from Ukraine. The months have gone by fast. We had somenone else mail in our box over the weekend and pastweek. I guess I am going to have to talk with them again. I put it back in the mailbox and put a note on it for them. I need to get off of here and get ready to watch for the bus for Nicholas. September 8____________ I just checked on of Chris' email about the Fedex tracking. It said it was there on the 23 of August, so it has been 16 day now that I counted.

4/18/2006 11:32 AM Hello everyone, This is the first Journal for us to do with the adoption. We hope everyone will enjoy this about our journay with the adoption. This is the 2nd adoption for us . We adopted a little boy from Russia back in 2003. His name is Nicholas. I wished now that we had done a Journal for him like this,so that our family could have kept up with us while we were in Russia. Nicholas is 3 years old now. Chris and I thought about trying to adopt again. We decided to go with Ukraine this time. We flet like God was calling us to adopt a child from Ukraine. My sister told us about this group long time before the first adoption. Chris and I talked about it after a while and Nicholas was moving toward age 3. We went to some of the meetings to see what it was all about. Then we talked to two ladies that were helping with the adoption and we meet with them. Around 2004 we started on the paper work. We had some up and down with this adoption. Like most adoption you do have some trouble. Back in Aug. 2004 my mom passed away. Chris and I stopped the paperwork for about six months. Then started back again.
